FAQs
When playing on a Meta Quest device, why am I asked to allow Ready Aim Dodge to record audio? Are you spying on me?
No, we’re not spying on you. This prompt is an Android required security feature related to VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) in multiplayer sessions. If you deny the permission, you may not activate your microphone in a multiplayer game. You can always go into your Quest settings for the game and allow this permission at a later time. If you choose to allow this permission, the game does not record audio by default. Your default microphone setting is OFF, even when you choose to allow recording of audio. To turn your microphone on, start a multiplayer match, then press your Game Menu Button. You will then be presented with the option of turning your microphone on.
How do I quit a match?
In any match, you can press your Game Menu Button (the flat button on your left controller, unless you’ve changed that setting in the Quest Home Menu). From there, you will see the option to Quit Match
My microphone is off, but other players are hearing my voice. Why?
If you join via a Party from within your Meta Home, and your VOIP was enabled there, it carries over into the game. This is outside of the control of RAD, as that audio session essentially belongs to your Quest device, not RAD. If you press your Oculus/Meta Button, you can turn it off from there.
I’m in a Meta Party, but I don’t see all the matches for RAD listed under destinations. Why not?
You are shown only the matches that are relevant for the number of people in your party. Example: If you have more than 4 people in your party, no matches will be shown because RAD only supports up to 4 players. If you have 2 people in your party, you will only see 2 player matches.
My arrow is showing on the outside of my bow, but I like it on the inside. What can I do about this?
Suck it up, Cupcake! That’s how bows are meant to work today. Google it.
